There is a majority of fans who are happy to pay the full price, £2 is less than the price of a pint but a few hundred £2s is a significant cost to the club(s). This game in particular could have stood on it's merits without discount.

It's true that not everyone can get to pick tickets up durng the week so yo can always expect lots to pay on the day .

Cash turnstyles? but not like at Rochdale where they did cash and tickets at the same one, took ages to get in.

They are aware that they will need to queue up for tickets before they go to the turnstyle as we don't have cash turnstyles? Not the quickest process so be prepared to wait.

Agreed. Leigh v Featherstone blockbuster for a stake in the last 8 of the Challenge cup. Everyone who attends would have done so regardless of a small discount or not.

I am not knocking the club or Featherstone for that matter, they are trying to please everyone.

I suppose the advantage is that people who purchase early tickets will not be put off at the last min (weather, football, plumbing emergencies or car breakdowns etc) and if so we have already banked the cash

What odds of a late kick off

I will + my usual £5 syndicate of half time draw tickets. Plus I always buy an adult ticket when I am entitled to a concession. What else do I have to spend my pension on ?

I'd like to go on record and say what a great job Derek and his fellow directors are doing long may it continue and let's all get behinds the lads and the board for Sunday and the rea of the season.

I believe like the old saying about kids, Directors should be seen and mot heard, but Derek did himself and the club proud the other night,well done.

It really does look like we have a good set of Directors at present and they do actually have a plan with actions in place for most outcomes,which is reassuring to know.

It is ironic though that all of us who hated the SL set up of no relegation or promotion would possibly of seen our team benefit this year,as we must of had a great chance of winning the promotion place as we ticked most if not all the boxes.Saying that I prefer the new set up and look forward to a great season this year and more to follow.
