Charlie you must be the only RL fan in this country who considers the Don Valley as a place they like for watching RL.

The main stand is way too far away from the pitch and I think even the Eagles fans would think so too.

You don't like Craven Park at Barrow but at least you get a great view of the pitch unless it's a night match of course.

Francis , as you well know I don't like Barrows ground , you DO have a great view of the pitch , even when on the Toilet , I must admit , I do however like the Whitewater Hotel at Backbarrow , the food and ambiance is very good .

As for the Don V ?I have always enjoyed the trips up there going back over 20 years , when John Musker used to drive us up there , you don't like it because it is all seater , you cant mooch around as much .

Mark Aston used to reckon that, when he sat in the dug out, he had to leave ten minutes before half time, so he could get back to the dressing room for the half time team talk! He also said it was an awful stadium for RL, but it was their awful stadium, and it gave them an advantage, in that they were used to it.
