Ridyard is playing awesome no doubt he deserves the number 6 spot. Who knows when the wire lads get recalled & or the combination of injury's maybe Tim will play at centre.

With regard to Hartley, it was written that he would be given first go at Stand Off and he was however, he didn't play at Dewsbury and he's not played since because, Ridyard is the better option!

I was of the opinion Ridyard deserved to start the season given his form at the back end of last season but Millward wanted to give Hartley a chance. I wouldn't say it didn't work out but Ridyard played better when given the chance and Millward could obviously clearly see that.
Tim will have to pull his socks up and work hard it's as simple as that. I'm sure he'll get another opportunity and as someone else said he can always play centre, or even loose forward in my opinion.

| I have posted previously that I prefer Hartley to Riddy.
Having now seen them both this season, Riddy is now #01 for me. My only worry is with his tackling.

Nothing wrong with Ridyards tackling. This kept getting dragged up last season ! Tonight against a tough Batley team Ridyard stood up to them no problem !!!!!!

Saw Riddy stop one of their pack dead in his tracks tonight. Martyn can kick goals also and we may need him to do that having watch Mck Nannyn walk off in a lot of pain tonight

The strength and depth (including the 4 dual players) at the moment is great for the team, it means Millward is able to pick the team on performance levels and fitness levels. I think our week off will do Nanyn, Paul, Donlan and Goulden in particular a world of good.

Ridyards tackling has been inconsistent. I am yet to see anything passed the Halifax game so maybe he has improved in the last couple of games. I'm not knocking him I'm just pointing out what I have seen on the DVD's. Remember I can replay key points of a game on a DVD. |

Just pointing out where he can still make the most improvement. If I hadn't been noticing his playmaking I wouldn't have revised my opinion on who is my #01 choice.
