| Quote: mr. chairman "TV BOY wroteTalking hyperthetically you would want WMBC to put the stadium company into administration - no redundancy or unfair dismissal claims then buy it from the administrator.
It still concerns me when people talk this way . I have seen many friends lives destroyed by people who do these things . So what do you really mean by the phrase , put into administration'"
It was a hyperthetical scenario MrC.
What is a fact is that after administration contracts are null and void, which means should we have current contracts in place that are unrealistic new owners would not be tied to them. Redundancy is fairly easy to sort out but somebody with 2 or 3 years left on a silly contract costs a lot more to resolve, as we found out on many occasions recently with coaches.
Didn't Widnes going into administration clear them of the stifling contract on their stadium?
What is clear is that we must do whats best for LRLFC, if we have ticked boxes at the end of the season then administration is a no-no and we should have no problem building for SL with a new deal with LSV.

With 2000 new homes (in a already gridlock risk area), how do the new house owners get to work by car? In say up to 5 years time how many people can afford a car? government local and national have got to force the issue on this lazy attitude of dependent on the car and changing the mindset
As for going into convenient administration to wipe off debts and/or liabilities, that is so wrong to do.

Tomorrow I drop my kids off in Lowton at 8am, then I have to get to some industrial park on the outskirts of Oxford for a meeting at 11am, then back to a site in the middle of nowhere, 7 miles away from Wolverhampton for a meeting at 2pm. I'll end up staying down there for another meeting in the morning, so will have to find a hotel somethere, get back to site, bring back a shedload of tools and equipment, then get back to Lowton to pick the kids up again.
Show me how I can meet those obligations without lazily relying on my car and I'll vote for your transport strategy

Quite a common daily commute that. I thought I had it bad.
But lets start with the easy bit trying to get them 2000 extra cars on the motorway in the first place before even starting that commute from hell.

By canoe, along t'cut, to the nearest public transport hub? Admittedly a fair paddle, if that 'hub' isn't Leigh bus station!

I was going to suggest barges, but they aren't as environmentally friendly as canoes!

To be 'environmentally friendly' they must be horse drawn of course - as in your day JPL

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

No idea what the relevance of the above post is , but it reminds me of the most overused joke on Sunday mornings on GMR by Jimmy Wagg and Eamon O Niel
" I went to an Indian restaurant last night "
" Oh yes , what did you have ?"
" A chicken tarka "
" Whats that like , I've not had one of those ? "
" Like a chicken tikka , just a little otter "
