As a Thunder fan what will you be doing to try and compensate the two youngsters who had to move seats because of the 'passion and support' of the foul-mouthed supporters and who may have been emotionally and psychologically damaged by the swearing you heard ? Just because you didn't feel intimidated or threatened,will you be finding Thunder a new ground to play at when the licensing authority view the postings by the Leigh followers stating their standing and smoking in breach of the legislation.
With you feeling 'a little uncomfortable',perhaps you are one of those rare 'soft geordies' who has a little life experience after watching Corrie.
Two 7 yrs.olds and their responsible adult carer obviously find the breach of more than one law alarming and distressing - particularly as they will be failed by the system.

If a 7 year old is emotionally and psychologically damaged by what they heard on Sunday then I fear for them in later life - but we all know it is just adults using kids as a points scoring weapon at this stage.

I really hope Gateshead Thunder has responded to your posts, perhaps you may have conned them into thinking your genuine as well

does anyone else feel like they went to a different game to the one described by the gateshead fans??????????? i really enjoyed myself and certainly did not expect this reaction. All the gateshead fans i spoke to throughout the game well where excellent and seemed to enjoy the banter. i suspect it is just a few supporters in a clique who post on their messageboard.

...and yes i realise my username isnt the best as im sure a gateshead fan will think i was one of the "louts" who dared to get passionate about their team on sunday

One last thing I shall say is that around the video point for the full eighty minutes, kids and adults were running up and down the stairs and surely this shouldn't have been allowed either?
