Thank you Lynda to me this clears up all the continuing confusion and rumours doing the rounds about our club , lets stop the Scaremongering and get on with supporting our Team and Club , again i cant wait for the new season , and again i will do all i can to assist the Fundraising we need to help our Coach .

Will our u23s be young lads stepping up from the younger age groups or will it be stacked with the players wigan dont want at the moment?.

If its the case that our u23s are mainly ex wigan players, will the wigan club have coaches on the bench as is happening at other clubs?.

Take a look guys on the goons board about the club partnership thread, one goon fan says all this is our own fault for being a small club in a small league, then they wonder why they get a name for being smug.

Re coaches if it's a Leigh side it will be a Leigh coach. Our clubs coaches give our sides instructions and the idea our coaching team will be instructed by a Pie coaching team will never be acceptable to our club. I am convinced of that and I don't need to even ask our coaching team or our Board members.

So we have entered a partnership agreement with Wigan?

We can only have DC's/loan players from Wigan?

Plus we don't have own community dept but share with Wigan?

This I cant understand as its a conflict of interest.

Dress it up how you want, partnership with Wigan, u can only dual reg with Wigan players, you can play 5 fringe Wigan players.

Whatever you call it, partnership, cost saving, twinning etc, it's the same as the others dressed up in different words delivered in a ambiguous way.

You cannot get any dual reg players from any other club but can get season long loans, just the same as the "twinned teams" .

Get back to your own board, bit fed up of the fax fans now, shame they can't understand plain english and their coach is a liar. I think calling Karl a liar is grossley unfair as the RFL have also posted this on their own website so they have passed this news on to whoever reads it.Surely your beef is with them ,Karl didn`t just grab this news from thin air and I hardly think the RFL have put it on their website because Karl made the statement either.
However as Dick Jones is a Leigh Director and therefore I would presume part of the descision making process of the Club she should be more aware of what`s going on than the RFL or Karl Harrison ,so I wouldn`t think the RFL statement is in any way true.

I asked the coach and thats what he told me and I believe him, he rang me about something completely unrelated and I hit him with the question, he he didn't have have time to plan what to say or try and disguise anything as some seem to think.
This years set up with Wigan is like last year, except we wont have the option of Wire players so its likely we will have more Wigan players then last year.

If people don't want us to continue this partnership then they will have to find ways of bringing more income into the club as the squad we have signed up now is because its all we can afford on the budget Pauls been given.

So if we could find a couple of hundred more LISA members and 100 more touchdown members will would probably be able to manage without duals.

I see some things on here do not change Lynda as you well know some folk would sooner believe what some prawn that has rock all to do with our club says than someone who finds out answers for them, paranoia is alive and lives in Leigh.
I also have spoken to Paul re the subject of DC's on a number of occassions and his view has never changed on the subject, yes he would prefer to play Leigh signed players only but until he has a budget that allows him to do that he will utilise any player that fits and ONLY FITS into the ethos he has put in place in the dressing room, he will NOT be forced into playing any player he does not want.
Plus IMO anything we can use that ANY club wishes to provide us with in the matter of anything to give us an edge on and off the field can only benefit us, if it also benefits them all well and good.
Now if people want to believe what a washed up bottle kicking pratt and his mindless supporters has to say well let them.
IF (note the word IF as I have no idea what is planned or not) there is some way Wigan Warriors and ourselves have a way of getting our great game pushed to the fore in the schools throughout the Borough then it cant be a conflict of interest as they are all in the same education authority and a joint venture makes sense as it isnt a competition, I helped put in place a joint venture amongst the schools in the borough back in the 90's and as a result all benefitted ( I hope) and not just a few, parochialism has no place these days in Rugby League esp[ecially when dealing with the youth.
