The rumour mill suggests Te Maire Martin is close to signing so that is likely to be Overseas quota filled and a large chunk of change to buy the half-back that everybody has expected since Moylan retired.
Lammy suggested 2 or 3 players, but they will need to Federation players, and props are at a premium. The only available player fitting this category is Ryan Sutton, (of course most of the Salford squad are now up for grabs).
Regarding Pene, he is overseas and under contract. He will not be easy to dislodge. The fact he played for the reserves does not mean anything other than he needed some game time, having missed a chunk of the pre-season.
Tom Amone is clearly not where he expected to be, playing 2nd tier Footy. This is beneath a Leigh legend, and he may well make a comeback at the LSV. Nothing is guaranteed but Leigh are probably in pole position for a return in 2026.

Aaron Pene will leave by the looks of things - hopefully then Amone and Clifford come in.
Ryan Sutton is available who I would be looking at as another prop, also desperately in need for destructive line running second row.
Pene might get a loan move, but it won't be easy to get him off our quota and salary cap, given he is also contracted for next year. Look how long it took to offload Nakubuwai |

well I have to tell you he failed miserably, don't want to sound patronising so I'll keep it short, thought you played some good rugby last night and maybe it was just a blip eh.
Back to the fireworks, if your thinking of coming over don't rule our chairman putting on a monster display just to rub Derek's nose in it and to match the coaches monster display

You sound like a wire fan corkey, they only sing when there winning too, the reason we lost is because we gifted you12 points, see you had a sniff on the Wakey board trying to cause a bit of mischief last night real class stuff on your part that corkey, did you notice that despite those errors and the fans disappointment at the loss they are still behind the players and not coming out with the embarrassing posts like the title of this thread, now that's what class is corky, by the way I thought you played considerably well after the @rsoling we gave you the week before anyway good luck in the semi. |
