Budge, the first half was very close, Dews are a decent team, I reckon they forced about 8 goaline dropouts on us , but when we moved the ball around in the second half it was easy.
Man of match for me was Ben Reynolds , but good games from a few , Ian Thorniley my tip for a great season. |

CL, it was a scrappy first half, Dews won’t be pushovers this season, but once we decided to put the ball out wide we won easy.Im happy with this game first up, we will improve. |

I’ll take a scrappy first half in the first game of the season, on a January Friday night in Dewsbuy, with a late change to the halfback pairing. The second half was a 24-0 display against a home team who were sensing an upset.
