For me I really do think we can beat Wigan on Thursday,I've been with the Wigan Carolis this afternoon and they think the same.However Shaun Wane is a very good,he won't be blaming their long injury list ,the Refs performance, or so many games in so few days,that's not his style,Wigan will come at us at 100 mph and try to blow us away early,hopefully we can keep up with them and compete for the full 80 minites.
Widnes are now improving so bottom spot will be ours,we must now focus on the middle 8s I really do think we will survive,but next season we need a bit of a clear out , I think giving 2 year contracts to a few players has been a bit of a mistake.Onwards and upwards though.

Never have I seen a Coach Whine as much about injuries as Shaun Whine (maybe McDermott) he never stops whining about "half the salary cap in the stands" waffle, waffle etc. This from the Coach of a Club that still has several Internationals on the pitch.

Compare & contrast to NJ who I think I have heard/seen only once mention injuries & suspensions. Wigan with a squad of seemingly 40 & Leigh with a squad of 27/28.

I'd share your optimism if the perenniel blame the ref syndrome hadn't made its way into the club. Hopefully, that's just an example of saying one thing in public while dealing with things like not being able to dominate a tackle or keep composure in when in a close game.
