Personally I think they should issue a full refund to everyone until this is sorted out (or at the very least a partial refund). Do they actually have anyone in charge of this now or is it now just being run by the volunteer students? I remember when they almost doubled the price, they said it was so that DP could go on the payrol as a full time member of staff and therefore there would be much more content including team features etc. However, apart from the first few months when Dave was actually employed there seems to be very little going on there and certainly not enough to justify the huge price rise. I think it's a rip off.

As a result of the initial outcry, early in the season, a spate of content appeared, but the club's enthusiasm seems to have waned again!

Navigation should be easier but its not that hard

I'd speculate that the students who were doing a great job on the commentary and production are taking exams, hence their absence from commentary - which is now abysmal. I think the club should reconsider Dave Parkinson as lead commentator. The current trio lack basic commentary skills and some essential commentary training would be greatly appreciated.

On the positive, the videos are now available in 1080p which is great and suggests they've invested in better tech. Playback is great in a media sever.

And for anyone that thinks the new site has worse design and usability than the old leighcenturions.tv domain, please step away from the mouse. The LeighRL.co.uk integrated site is much improved.

BTW - I haven't cancelled,and will wait for further development with the site. IMHO, I actually think the layout and the format is poor and not as easy to navigate around like it used to be.It wasn't broke before,so no need to fix anything.

They will have combined the 2 sites to cut running costs, plus a reduction in hassle. Honestly, it's always better to have one good site as opposed to 2 mediocre sites, for the reasons stated. The old site was a bit disorganised and the videos had crap titles and it just needed work. They may add text link menus and a search box over time to add more navigation options to the drop downs to cater for all our different requirements. Once you get over 3 tiers in a drop-down it can get a bit messy I agree on that. Give them time to implement or email them with feedback - when I've made contact they always respond promptly.

The primary reason I subscribe is to watch every game back in full. I cant even do that for the Hull KR game!!!

What's the point of having LCTV if it cant do the basics right and on time? Pathetic!

On the old site,once you've signed in,you could just click and play there and then. It also had quite a few latest/previous videos underneath to choose from,with click and play,but only 6 on the new site, and then there are sequences to go through before you finally get there.There was no need to go looking for anything on the old site unless you wanted to delve into something from weeks ago.There is no need for all the links and drop down navigating. I am no wizard on web design,but all they need to do is have several videos on display on the main page,then it should simply be click and play,even if it opens another browser.But like iv'e said, i will persevere whilst the new site has finished being transformed.I don't have an email for the LCTV team, so i'll wait and see what they come up with.This is not a moan btw

Yeah some good points. The "Latest Video" option was probably a feature of the old theme used on .tv domain or a plugin, as they use WordPress (WP) software. For anyone not au fait with Wordpress, plugins simply expand the functionality of the core WP software and theme you use. The new theme may not have the "latest" option or they may have dumped the plugin to increase load speed of the site - often a dilemma for WordPress users; plugins/functionality versus load speed for users.

I'm sure over time they will improve the site usability a bit more and have latest vids, etc. I actually recall using that feature on the old site each week as it was presented the video as soon as you logged in. So a very handy feature if you're listening Leigh RL.
