| I can understand your thinking! I do think Ryan has copped some unfair flak! He's a damn good rugby player and he's young if the biggest team in the country come in and are interested your head gets turned. You can't fault he's passion just want him to take the game on and start to show the Ryan of old!

| He's a great support player and I see him as a full back not a 7, yesterday we had very little of the ball due to the ref mainly so may be I am being a little harsh based on yesterday's performance, I just think he's been hyped up and Very rarely takes the game by the scruff . We missed Ridyards organisation yesterday and Chase was more effective than Ryan. If he does get his move there's no way it will be to play 7

| Brierley is not yet complete half back, he is an opportunist try scorer in broken field, he is an early edition of Danny McGuire; he needs to develop more skills, which hopefully he will then he can replace Ridyard at stand off. One aspect he need to improve immediately is off loading the kick off, he was giving the ball to Acton and Moi Moi a couple of metres too late and on each occasion they had to check their momentum to take the ball. Hopefully the coach will spot it on video.

Although he was 'offloading' the kick off better than Rangi did, in the Wigan game!

| Gettin back to subject. Jamie was easily man of match. I think that the attitude that he showed today is needed against Bulls next week and he deserves to be selected in starting 13 imo

I was pleased for him. Providing he can keep his discipline, he has all the other attributes to make a good player.

Not really seen any illdiscipline from opposition to test that discipline so far.As for penalty discipline, bad refs or not they all still count.

| Not heard any complaints from opposition supporters as of yet. Unlike last year. But weve not played the seagulls yet. And they do like to complain

| Think discipline has been better both our own & the teams we've been playing. That's probably why, we saw last year when teams played a clean game of rugby against us there was no discipline problems, it's when the opposition tried playing a niggly undisciplined game & we beat them at their own game all the complaining about our discipline started. Hopefully all teams will play a cleaner more entertaining game this year with the extra quality in The Championship this year.

Once, nearly twice. Having watched them back I think both were a deliberate ploy to try and find Higson and surprise our opponents.

| If it was a deliberate ploy it was a stupid one.

| Yeah I think saying it was deliberate is giving a bit too much credit to Lee Smith
Also not giving enough credit to Higson for spotting what was happening and reacting quickly to spare him his blushes. Don't know why he was kicking to his 'weak' side when the penalties were awarded bang in the centre of the pitch. Once was understandable, doing it twice was a bit thick...

Darned sight easier to involve the winger this way, than passing through three or four pairs of hands and risk dropping the ball en route.
I thought Adam showed excellent awareness and skill, for the second 'placed' kick.
