Although it would be nice if the op had kept her mouth shut so as not to tip the opposition off to our team selection for the game.'"
Having a rest we have only played 1 league game (which we lost ) and a couple of friendlies.

But isn't that the point is squad rotation? Next week rangi or ridy will (hopefully) get a break. Keep doing that through the season and they should be fresh for the middle 8's. Assuming we don't keep losing and fail to qualify

| It's no big deal that Ryan is rested..... they'll be chopping and changing everyone this year to keep everyone fresh
Remember, winning every game like we did last year doesn't get you in Super League.... it counts for nothing

| Nozzy - Rangi IS a class above anyone else at the club (including Neil Barker) and worth the admission money alone.
He will be missed very much ON the field at Salford and this year many Reds fans will be at the LSV to see him play.
World class on his day. Enjoy.

lose 4or 5 games an we may not qualify.I would prefer making the top 4 position safe before chopping and changing

I can see it now,.."Hey boss,Peter Kay has just posted on the Leigh forum,Brierley is being rested".."I didn't realise he was a rugby fan, better change our team and tactics then"
Do you really think opposition teams take any notice of a forum?
BTW,he's been dropped not rested.

| Forget this qualifying for the top 4 is all that matters, it's qualifying for the top 2 that matters ,as you get the advantage of an extra home game in the 8's, but again my opinion is you go out to win every game,no matter what, professional sportsmen should always want to win,I'm sure everyone at the Club has this philosophy I'm not Neil Jukes , but I would pick my best available 17 every time.

I was at Batley last week, and to see Ryan's reaction after he scored his try,was a breath of fresh air to me, it was full of passion ,and you could see how much it meant to him, last season he seemed a bit quiet when scoring ,but to see him at Batley was so good, I've said before you don't Drop or rest a player that gives you 30 plus tries a season, not counting his passes that assist tries being scored.Again only my opinion.

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |
|
| Well I would like to see Rangi and Ryan in the halves. There should be no blind loyalty shown, which I think may be happening

Neither as creative as Ridyard though.

Don't think it's blind loyalty so much as recognising Ridys organising skills that rangi and kez don't have - plus rotating the halves
