I'm simply saying I am not doubting the integrity of either the club or Joe. It's well accepted that press releases very often don't tell the full story, just look at some of the ones issued by Leigh in the past few years. You might have taken them at face value but I didn't. Sometimes the real story comes out and some times it doesn't.

I get that maple', and most of us London fans are well aware of the resentment a lot of Northern fans have after we were "gifted" top flight status, it may suprise you to hear this, but most of us didn't like it either. We'd have rather earned the right and the credibility that went with it! Remember though it was Sky TV that had other ideas and they that dangled the big fat juicy carrot the RFL couldn't resist.

As to Joey, a sincerely nice bloke, a little out of his depth but incredibly enthusiastic, I wish him well and am now hoping for a Coach who understands.. No Defence means No Wins! I would like Nobby, but doubt we could afford him.

Why not? Yes this is a Leigh forum but some fans like to take an interest in other clubs, Fax had a thread about FFMM recent tragic event, there were several sites had the Hock saga running. It isn’t compulsory to post or even read threads you feel aren’t of interest to you.

As for the thread its self without knowing any of the details all I can say is good luck and I hope everything turns out ok for both Joe and London.

what the idiotic cynic failed to see in both of his 'examples' is that the MP in question is not only the MP for Leigh but also a regular at the LSV stood on the terraces with his constituents and was a supporter before he was ever an MP, and in his second example the RFL did not supply any funds to us that were not due and they spoke to the Inland Revenue on our behalf something they have done for every club who has had a 'problem' with the Revenue dept, a very poor attempt at trolling indeed.
