Derek yesterdays game was a BIG mistake by the Lancs coaching staff , Flintoff should have batted much earlier , he would have won the game for them , that bloke Khawaja thought he was playing test match cricket , far to slow .

Charles you know as much about cricket as you do about coaching in rugby league(youve been touting AG for the halifax job on their forum) those of us who went felt the toss was a must win and bat and so it proved.as for freddie his best is behind him,great effort but his bowling was not economic enough,there are more Lancs youngsters waiting in the wings.The game is easy sat in the stand or at home watching.

what u didnt see charlie was the faces of the lads who were dropped for buttler ,anderson and flintoff.Anderson has never been a 20/20player,freddies best days are behind him,one of our greatest cricketers ever,but to drop good young players,sorry no.they got us there and should have played,maybe you could sneak your mate AG in as coach



as for fred batting higher up the order take a look at his previous stats for this year..

Buttler is an average keeper,anderson is not suited to white ball(no swing cricket) and fred im afraid wont play for lancs again....walking like a 70 yr old after the game.20/20 is a young mans game.Alex davies should have played,and kept wicket,butler should have played as a batsman,and as previously stated anderson is not suited to 20/20.

Ian, I really was tiddly poo, but it,s a good point you make about freddie. I havn't seen our bri much of late, but he came to watch Leigh v Fax but he can't make weekend games. I will be in Benidorm when it's GF, It's my mates 50th. I will go to the semi the week before assuming we are in it.
