| Quote: WOLRAB "Seems like a good signing. How scarey is our pack? I am also pleased that he is moving to leigh.'"
Imagine being in the opposition and seeing Jonny Walker at prop, Jamie Acton in 2nd row and Sam Barlow at loose forward, that would be terrifying!
Great signing, looking forward to seeing him play.
Quote: WOLRAB " As a Bulls fan looking around the different part of the RLFANS board we'll soon be calling home, you guys might be best placed to answer a question for me if you'd be so kind; how many of the probable championship 2015 clubs will be full time next year? (how many are full time this year even?, I have no clue) I'll admit I have no idea as I've been trapped in the Superleague bubble, and Im now trying to requint myself with real Rl
No one is full time this year, we'll be full time next year no matter what, the RFL are giving extra money for the teams that finish 1st and 2nd to go full time, so it'll be us and either Featherstone, Halifax or Doncaster (depending on who finishes 2nd) full time next year. Someone else might go full time if they come into a lot of money but it’s not likely.

| Cheers for the answers guys, and dont worry, most Bulls fans are under no illusions as to next year - we're not expecting any walkovers (2 or 3 seasons of turmoil and losing like we have quickly removes any thoughts of superiority trust me) I'd fully expect your current team to have beaten our team from most of this season, but Lowes does seem to be turning the attitude around and our prospects for next season depend entirely on our recruitment/retention - we currently only have 2 players confirmed for next season, so in an odd way the sooner we're confirmed down the better for planning and announcing players for next season. But I had no idea about the FT status of our probable rivals as we are going to be full time and it will hopefully be an advantage over some of the league to at least get in the top 4 as the first aim.
See you next season at the sports village and Odsal!

| He's e. Poor attitude, poor core skills, no work ethic.
Has a nasty streak in him though, plenty of agression. Should do okay in your league.
Poor lad ending up at Leigh like.

There's a more than decent chance that HKR will be playing in 'our league' next year..........

On your forum Teddy, you call us a 'horrible' club. Please explain, without sounding thick.

| 80% of the current HKR fans don't even know where we are, the other 20% followed them in the bad times and deserve respect - they would all claim to be part of the glorious 1400 though

| Somebody mentioned Ryan Duffy. Personally despite him giving his all I don't think he's mobile enough to take us forward and I doubt he'll get a full time deal.
He'll go well in our league with someone else next year though I reckon. As for Walker, looks a top signing. I hope whatever went on at HKR is in the past and I'm sure he'll have been made aware of that here. That said there are 2 sides to every story.

Based on what? We've finished outside the 8 once in the last 6 seasons

| I was referring to the 'Middle 8' next season. I can see HKR being in it, along with Leigh.

| He's decent, solid. Should go well in the championship level. Think the main battle may be keeping his head on straight and steering clear of "disciplinary issues"

| Shouldn't be a problem moving over this side of the hill. The lads will get him settled in quick and he will be joining one of the Sunday morning bible classes that all our forwards are members of.

Fax will still be part time if they finish 2nd. With teams apparently crumbling around them its probably the right thing to do.

| This is a good signing for you. I for one was a little sorry to see him going. Definitely aggressive, has an awkward style and tries to offload. Best thing is he has a lot of improvement in him if his twin is anything to go on.

Fully understand what you say, but, if the top four Championship teams are to have any chance of competing with the bottom four SL teams next season, (plus London & Bradford) they must try to do so on as equal a footing as possible.
Of course, they must also do so, without 'breaking the bank'. And therein lies a problem!
