Peawaap , ive never said Leigh Showboat ,it was very close at the end though, young Warren wasn't that bad either,maybe a couple of decisions I didn't agree with , but again that's life it was how he saw the game .

When two teams make as many handling mistakes as Leigh and Sheffield did, the referee has to blow up for them. He is then noticed more than he would want to be, but it wasn't him making the mistakes. Also he did manage to keep the lid on what was in danger of becoming a rather fractious affair.

Thought Turley Jr handled the niggle pretty well. With other whistleblowers we've seen this season it could have got well out of hand.

Why is that, because he noticed all the mistakes from both teams?

Why is the ptb so slow at our level, the rules are the same yet teams are allowed to do it in virtually every game we play. The refs job is to allow the players to entertain the fans by applying the rules - the same rules that apply to SL or the Championships.

Refs seem to have forgotten about the offside law. It's pretty bad in most games but Sheffield were offside so much today it wasn't funny. It seems refs warn players who are offside not to get involved but simply by being offside they are interfering with the attacking teams options. Bring back Ronnie Laughton1

Well I thought the ref had a decent game and like other refs they are the same for both sides.

Nowt wrong with Turley Leigh's defence was pretty slow moving up at times Sheffield where a lot faster moving up Leigh distribution from ruck was painfully slow at times during the game which resulted in Leigh getting tackled pretty quickly by Sheffield

Another win and 12 points clear at the top. Thought we were the better team today but did lack a bit of organisation without Riddy and again gave away the ball a bit much, know it's going to happen when you play fast attacking rugby but just need to look after the ball a bit more.

Could probably lose the fast today! Sheffield were twice as fast at the play the ball, we were so slow its no surprise we kept thinking the Eagles were offside

No matter how many decisions the ref gets wrong I have noticed that Fred always cleans the video up so the ref is nearly always right on playback.
No doubt this weeks will be the same
