I would love to have a teem full of leigh lads/uk players but if you believe we can survive in super league with no quota players you are living in a dream world, the key to quota players is to bring in quality young players.

I don’t know how much money it costs but would think you could possibly get two young Brit’s for near enough the same money as one quota?

Not a dream world at all, why would you automatically think a young Aussie player is better than a young UK player? Of course if there's an exceptional young Aussie up for grabs I have no problems with that, I just said I'd prefer not to have any.

Because there is not the required amount of UK talent that can compete in super league to the required standard hence why every team in super league uses all there quota spots. why would you not want a great player to play for leigh just because he aint english? imports provide so much to the competition as well as drawing crowds.

I would like to see an assistant coach etc come in from a SL club. It's a huge step up to full time football and you need someone familiar with the best practices in terms of how to manage time etc.

I can see where a lot of you are coming from but it sounds like you are trying to fix something that's broken. We are a part time club that has just given one of the big super league clubs the fright of there lives, when we go full time next year I see no problem for this team stepping up another gear. As this team stands now we are more professional than some of the clubs that are already in super league.

So a good Championship coach who fits 5 days coaching into three evenings need advice on time management? do me a favour that's where all the ex SL guys fall down on when they try and fit a pint into a half pint glass, when dealing with part time players.
Time and man management is something Paul Rowley and his coaching team needs no advice on their results speak for them selves.

I agree Fred, I think Paul and his team work wonders with the time they currently have. To 'time manage' a full time team would be a walk in the park.
