From a fans point of view I agree, he is doing a great job, but he has put me off doing any sponsorship, but that won't stop me watching the club I love and I hope he carries on bringing in big sponsors

I'd urge you to reconsider opinion of Rob - it is my experience that he has been a delight to work with, and whilst he is extremely busy and under a lot of pressure he almost always has time for a quick chat, or just an acknowledgement when it's appropriate. I've never seen him treat anybody any other way and I don't understand why he would have treated you in any way disrespectfully on purpose.

A 'couple of years ago' I bumped into John Duffy outside the LSV. and whilst I spoke to him, he just stared into his mobile phone, reading texts etc....not really interested in what I had to say.
Never mentioned it before, not worth it....but to meet 'someone once' and to form an opinion, then put it on the internet....Guess it's just human nature.
Never met Rob Parker, but if Mr. Chairman says he's a 'top bloke' then that'll do for me. As for John Duffy, I still bought one of his 'testimonial t shirts'.....the ignorant git......!

I have to say that that is completely out of character for John and I'm sure he would have had something ulta important that was bothering him to do that. You could not want to meet a nicer person than John and if he read that he would be gutted. Honestly John is one of the finest gents that I have had the pleasure to meet. Is there a need for a pitch inspection or (as mentioned by a few) is the pitch in good nick ?
Seen a lot of football called off of late due to monsoon conditions and hurricane style winds so hoping the RL season can start as the Pitch doesn't need to be in as good a state as it does for football.

LSV will never call a game off because of rain. The drainage is the same system as Wembley and The Emirates. We need a tsunami before they would call a game off!
