Is it San Fransico Netball ?

SNF is the football that kicks off at 5.30pm on a Saturday, which means it would be better for us to KO at 3pm Sunday as there is no sky football game at 1.30pm Sunday or 4.00pm Sunday*.










*Yes, this is sarky!

There will be counter attractions whichever kickoff time is chosen but if RL is your sport and Leigh is your team then other the other attractions won't attract, innit?

Saturday 6.30 sounds good to me, although could be tricky during the football season.

Sunday at 3 for Peawapp

I've always said I prefer Friday nights, but I'm chaging my mind this season to Saturday at 6.30pm, Sunday at 3pm is absolute no from me, lucky if we get 1600 on and the corporate boxes don't seem anywhere near as full as they did on a Friday.

I'm pretty sure more people (aged 18(ish)-45) go out on a Saturday night than a Friday and would be an ideal place to meet up before a night out for a drink or two. Obviously the corporate side would be unchartered territory and I wouldn't know if as many of the companies that use them on a Friday or Sunday would want to use them on a Saturday.

Me personally, the only reason I miss games on a Sunday is either through work or I'm so hungover I'm physically unable to get out of bed in a morning, so its Saturday for me!

ive put sundays because I dj on a Saturday night.if we have to change try a Saturday night it worked against Toulouse,think the crowd was over 2400 if im not mistaken and I don't think they brought many.i could always set my gear up at the pub before kick off.

I'm in the fortunate position to be able to attend any of the three options...but I do feel that it might be time to look at other options, so I've plumped for Saturday 6.30, as it's early enough not to put those with young 'uns off, and those who like a Saturday night out, can carry on after the game!!

Whatever route we chose though has to be made public before we start selling season tickets to anyone, as the majority choose to purchase a season ticket based on the number of games in the season they will definitely be able to attend - and we don't want folk 'kicking off' afterwards - as happened [i'under the previous regime'[/i, when we were assured that "Sunday 3pm" was the chosen time....only to find out later that we actually played more games in the season on other days - and that this was done to accomodate Swinton!!!

We also need to re-visit the 'book of tickets' option, to accomodate those who can't commit to the full season ticket, but still want to contribute.
