It is absolute crap what Rowleys says about 17 players, we have a full reserve grade team, so obviously some of these guys can step up if we do get injuries....... I think he's saying about the 17/16 to take pressure of himself....... we should beat Sheffeild!!! That team Leigh have is the best on paper throughout the lower leagues with all the super league expreience we have............
Stop making excuses Rowley!!! You signed the team, you should of made it versatile enough to cope with injury problems like we have now

How many of the reserve grade games have you watched or read about this season? None, just like the rest of us as we couldn't afford to run a reserve side this season. Also, on a shoestring budget PR could not afford a large squad. That's why he's had to rely on DR players when injuries have occurred earlier in the season. Now, we only have two of those DR players, who are in his 17 man squad.
Sheffield have injuries too, so it's not all doom & gloom. Neither side can afford to rest payers for the final - they have to get there, first & foremost. |

Well I was at Fax last week and they didn't seem to pick up any injuries in that match. I think they will be at full strength. |

Not to mention most of the team was signed by Keith Freer before Rowley was apointed. I'm amazed we still have Rowley knockers out there, I personaly think he's done well this season and I also think Keith did well with his signings given what we were looking at this time last season. |

I too feel that PR and the Board made some fantastic quality signings. Sadly, we could only afford so many and had to go with a small, quality squad. Injuries happen - you'd just rather not have them at this stage of the season. Still, if they'd happened earlier, we possibly wouldn't have been just 80 minutes away from a GF. |
