I heard that just before Blakemore and Adamson returned home Paul Rowley asked them to leave the training area commenting "I'm sorry guys I am trying to prepare the lads for the pre-season games, can you give me some space"

I was told Paul didn't want it, and he's doing a great job as assistant, he got them all very fit, last season and it was very much a big bearing on how we started the season last year.

Well if true, they 'll never forget that, should they get the gig!!!

If that it the truth which I don't believe for one minute then I would have the assistant removed as a stipulation of me taking over. If I was head coach then it would be me who gets the chop for the results and no assistant would be telling me that.

I feel sorry for paul because he is trying to get the lads fit and up and running for the friendly matches then you have two coaches trying to impress so thay can get the job.They both took trainig sessions but they were both doing things different ways so how can the players be expected to know what they are doing if they are being shown different things why not all be doing things from one hymm sheet so everyone knows what they are doing.

As with everything Leigh NEVER do anything straightforward , everything has to be Complicated,thats just Leigh.

The Coach situation needs to be sorted out as soon as possible ,im now thinking ,appoint Paul Rowley ,give him the Job.

ATEOTD reading between the lines we are looking at someone to manage the whole playing side, from player development, acadamy, 1st team etc.
I can imagine that Rowley and Jukes will do the majority of 1st team coaching, with direction from the new guy.
