I'm not disputing Andy doesnt do a good job in putting our town on the map, however i think a man in his position could/should do more when it comes down to leigh east. For an amateur club still 3 years down the line and still havent signed a tenancy agreement because of their ever changing demands is astounding!

I only know what I've read about East, and the situation appears to be shocking. However, I'm afraid I don't have any direct involvement with their situation, or knowledge of the 'other side' of that story - there always is 'another side' - so I restricted my comments to the situation of the Centurions.
Obviously, for the good of the Sport in Leigh, the sooner East get the security they are after, the better. |

And did he 'butt out'?? - From what I see / hear of Andy Burnham I doubt he would have or have WMBC got some clout in that field to make him?? |

Mr C i would imagine after 4yrs you could answer this yourself. Lrlfc could well find its way onto the Lsv portfolio. God forbid. |

Keep fighting the good fight Keith - as long as you're the most likely tenants then it will get sorted one way or another. We were only pushed out of the door once Blackburn were sniffing round and the LSV wanted to 'save' that expensive main pitch of theirs. |

I know that coming on our site and admitting to not being of the same political beliefs as Andy I will be chancing it, but I say (since I originally lived in Leigh and am a "Diehard" fan), I think he is the best MP Leigh have ever had or could hope to get. His input to getting LSV was brilliant and if by broadcasting or by any other means he gets someone interested enough to keep us afloat, then I will change allegiance and vote for him to be PM. |
