I agree we should stay well away from a 6/7/9 for our DC's. Could be too damaging if we lose them at short notice or they are in/out of the team from week to week.

One prop, one 2nd row/loose, one centre and one winger would be ideal.

Tom armstrong from saints would be a good player to get on DC. Highly rated quality winger/centre but with a few lads Meli/Foster/Lomax/Gardner(if he stays) above him in the pecking order at saints.

Also I heard Chris Dean had been let go by Saints. Don't know if he's found another club yet but he could be worth looking at as a centre/2nd row.

Not trying to be , a reserve grade will contain much older players than an u 21 s , I don't particularly like the D C system , but if it is there , we would be daft not to use it , I'd prefer season long loans , and before that I'd prefer our own juniors

Unfortunatly we need to use our best option both financially off the pitch and competitively on the pitch

so why notuse next season to develop leighs home grown players, let them gain the experience and development they and leigh will need instead of being overlooked for supposedly better players

Relegation ?

you cant just run with youth as it will get you relegated....... you need experianced players with a sprinkling of good young tallent, all the top clubs bring their youth into the first team bit by bit to develope them - thats what we should do.

Joe Mellor would be awesome. Top young player, had a tough year with injuries though and hasn't played much at all. We should look into getting Davies on D/C too.

No chance, Widnes is his first choice and Wane hates Millward so refuses to do business with him.
