What did Alex Murphy do...except play scrum half, Ok he may have been good at the time, but what other talents has he got....please don't say coaching 
For me it would have to be Lance Todd or Don Fox both epitomise of what you need to do to win at wembley and how it feels when you don't do it  |

Like I said, could be age-related. My first memory of a Challenge Cup final was [ithat[/i Offiah try against Leeds, even us Leythers have to admit that was a real touch of class. |

Well he was playing for GB at 17yrs old.
As for coaching - maybe different style to modern day but who else could have brought a Challenge Cup & League Champions to Leigh, together with other cup successes. Also did really well at Wire. Been a personality in the game for years - probably one of the most well known.
Don't know much about Lance Todd apart from having a trophy namwed after him and Don Fox is only remembered for missing a goal kick  How many did Timmy Street miss? |

| maybe it should be dedicated to Lancashire teams who have never lost when playing in a cup final at Wembley, I can think of one
Oh and I must agree with the crust munchers here Im afraid, Des was an excellent winger but can't be compared to a Great like Boston, sorry
But IF a statue dedicated to anything in RL it should be as the sport as a whole not one club or individual. |
