Good game and thought Fax were the better team and should have won TBH............. Barra just took their chances and fed off Fax`s mistakes which cost em a win.

Excellent day , me and frankb stood with the Fax fans , allways thought barra would win , fax have an exceptional attack but every time barrow got near their line you expected a score
Good attendance , about 4,000+ from Fax , 2,500+ from Barrow with the rest split between Owdam and the Cougas
Definatley lacking the ' edge ' of a SL promotion final though

They both had good games.
i was suprised that a player from the losing side won it but i would say that Black might have just deserved it.

More accurate description, defo more Barrow fans than 'Fax. Fantastic effort by both teams. Broadbent should have been MOM but Black had a great game for them. |

Both teams were well supported and for me Ben Black and Broadbent were both superb.
Like Starbug I thought Barrow were going to win and they have certainly come a long way in just 2 seasons.
I also enjoyed the Keighley Oldham game. Was a shame that relatively easy conversion was missed by Oldham but the skill gap between the two finals I saw was very wide indeed.
Our team has a lot to do to get to Fax and Barrow,s level.
