I like Duffy don't get me wrong but is there sentiment in there?We have had him 3 times before and has he gone better? He's gone Bigger, i agree that IF he is now a 9 or 13 instead of a 6 or 7 he would be better i just think we should leave him but if Basil wants him who am i to argue

Personally I wouldn't announce any signings until the season was over

Still unsure on what to make of these signings, especially Duffy. I think Paul, Bibey and Littler would all be great additions to a championship side but where is Basil going to use Duffy?

I seriously hope he isn't being lined up as our halfback, but I'd be quite happy to see how he goes at loose though.

I would have thought though the players who didnt think they would be in the squad for next season would still be in the shop window for other clubs.

Rowley seems to think some of the players think the same and he made the exact same point about playing for a contract elsewhere. However, would coaches look at the player as a whole or his form from the last 4/5 games?

The players i have spoke to at the gym all said they didnt want to be remembered as being in the Leigh team that got relegated

They are hardly going to suggest otherwise , unfortunatley sport is not just about signing individual players or those players putting effort in , there are so many other things needed to be successful

Getting the ' blend ' right is the hardest part , as is keeping it right when things are not going to plan as Fax are finding out at the moment
