Bench player at best, can excite, shows enthusiasm, can occasionally add a different dimension to the play but personally with what we have at present would rotate Smith and Jock at hooker and use Hemmingway and Ridyard as Watsons back ups.

No - can't see him getting any better deal though.

To be honest though all players would have to be 'just squad players' as thats the modern game no matter what speccies may think.

I disagree I reckon he'll get a good deal elsewhere and probably more regular rugby as well.

Who knows Basil might rate him we'll have to wait and see hey. He's renowned for getting the best out of players as well and Durbin isn't short on talent.

I think if the robbie paul rumour is true i think he will slip in at hooker n dave on bench that only reason i can think of why he has not been offered a contract extension

If Maden deserves a new contract Durbin should defo be given a new one. He is the top try scorer and he hasnt played in every game and when he plays he gets about 30mins. With Durbin on the field more, we will score more tries.
