these lads played some very good rugby earlier this season so what has changed?

They have played no rugby all season and back end of last, if we were entertained and had the same results we would be singing their praises and looking forward to the future.
We are simply bored with the skill levels and garbage on show.

But are we getting the effort? i say we are but if the players aren't good enough what do we do??????????

I dont disagree, I also feel some players have more to offer if used to their strengths.
Anyway been told the 6 is here this week, lets hope he is in on Thursday.

Good news! (if he's any good!) Given the current state of affairs, are we likely to hear if he's arrived?

we can keep calling our backs all day but they are not been given the chance to play attacking rugby you can count on one hand the amount of ball centres donlan and reay get in open play the only time the backs get the ball is from acting halfback if kelly cant see this then its time for him to go we need a standoff urgently to bring the backs into play our fitness levels are worst in league mort can be a good player but a fullback he is not never in the right place in defence donlan maybe reay who was wigans reserve fullback need to play here

What i gather from some peeps on here is that when we lose its because we have played cr@p, when we win its because the opposition has played cr@p or both teams are cr@p what about giving the lads a break

Just agreeing, because I too have sensed that whenever Leigh have a good win, certain people, often the fans of teams who play you, claim that they have had a particularly bad day and that Leigh are rubbish. I personally feel that you should judge each game individually and on its merits. I do not buy that every time Leigh win it is because the opposition are rubbish or have had a bad day. Head in sand. Not sure what you mean. Yesterday Leigh were well beaten. Nobody could argue, but for example, at Widnes, I do feel that it was hinted that Widnes were suddenly rubbish and I cannot agree with that. Most teams will have their good and bad days this season. Constructive criticism is great and objective viewing of a game and when a team has played poorly they need to admit it and try and improve for the next game. If you do not admit your weaknesses you will never move on and get better. However, by the same token, if your team plays well and gets a good result, it is not always because the opposition were rubbish. There is nothing wrong in acknowledging this.

Not sure about that - we outlasted Widnes, who are a full-time team. What hasn't done us any favours, as part-timers, is three games in nine days, with a long journey inbetween. Having to play again on Thursday is a totally unfair imposition by the RFL/Sky.
