Any update on the coach front?

Rumours of an Ex Gold Coast Titans coach who hasn't ripped up any trees.
Lee Briers says "it's not me" on Twitter, though you get the feeling he would jump at the chance, called Leigh "a great club" !

Has anyone seen Derek's comments in latest Leigh programme. Ripped the players to pieces, basically threatened to get rid of them all again. Surely he should of realised it was a tough act to stay up and perform this year.

Yeah I’ve seen Dereks statement , and I agree with it , this season has been very difficult for both players and fans alike , but some performances have just not been acceptable by some players , who for whatever reasons have gone Awol , seemed to make injuries worse than they were , or just didn’t give their all in performances , last weeks second half against Hull KR said it all.

I just think the Statement shows Derek is hurting just as much as the Fans , maybe more because of the cash he has put in , I feel sure most Leigh fans will support him .

They're all on one year contracts so the vast majority will be leaving anyway.

Be sad to see some of them go. A lot, though, will not be missed.

Maybe he should have (not "of"icon_wink.gif done it earlier. At least this Leigh team has now matched the 2005 SL outfit.

How many times does Bongser need to say it?

I expected better of my educated peers, this is our second best SL season and will end that way. 2005 had 28 fixtures our points per fixture is higher due to 6 less games

Interested who this NRL coach was too who changed his mind on leading us next year. Does anyone have anyone's name?
