I'm not an upset failed ex colt. If I had made the grade I probably wouldn't have travelled the world rubbing shoulders with Holywoods best. Don't get dragged down to this tools level and start making daft statements like him please. |

What was worse is for the team to be booed off by it's own so called supporters at HT
That was the crowd booing the Referee for his inept 1st half performance , lost count how many times Sheff got away with being a mile and a half offside . Hardly think it was the players being booed .
A few people near me did start shouting sort it out Leythers , but had every right to do so as some of our defensive play was shocking . We hoped for better in our last home game , didn't happen . The fickle fans won't be back , but the rest of us will as usual next season !

I would have gladly stayed and applaud the lads for the effort theyve put in all season, as I had to be at work for 10, but I do resent being called a part-time supporter.

You are absolutely correct in highlighting the loss of Govin. When he was on the pitch, Leigh were an irresistable attacking force as Widnes discovered, twice! What a wasted talent this lad is, he has historically suffered with injuries however, to seemingly overcome them and then become a 'slave' to drugs is a waste of real talent! Dont know if he'll ever return although, I hope he does for his own sake! |
