What is the crowd likely to be for this game? What have they been in the past? How many do teams usually take?
Why wouldn't they open the whole ground? It will look poor on sky with the east stand closed.

It is not quite as simple as that. Sky decide where they put their cameras, there is already a sport designed for the job in the west stand. They would have to build some kinf of structure to use the east stand for the cameras. Why would they waste their money. |

I think a final like this deserves better attendances than that. 8k must be the target though, anything less would be disapointing. |

| Charlie will be in the West Stand ,from the price of the seats i think im presenting the Cup at the end  ,Charlie Jnr is with the rabble in the South stand,as usual ,dont forget Frank B ,Leyther Matt and Jonny the Leyther are on the Sands Sunday morning  giving the kids rides .

They have to put up a camera gantry for most Thursday games so not really an issue. |

It's still a young competition, and it's only recently that it has started taking on any real meaning.
Does show that sometimes you just need to give something time to bed in. Even without the SL licence stuff attached, because the comp has a little history it is beginning to hold some value.
I didn't even go to the Trans-pennine Cup final at Dewsbury way back when. Comp didn't mean anything to me, but now... I'm excited by this final. |
