A look at Lam’s win percentage in his 3 years at Wigan show him to have the second highest in SL.
His career win percentage at the end of the 2021 season is 63%. Only Christian Wolfe has a higher percentage.

I would have Lam as the new Leigh Head Coach in a heartbeat, yes Wigan were quite boring & yes they also scored less tries than Leigh, but we were absolutely dire in defence & ended with a worse season than 2005 with (on paper) a much better squad.
I will take a bit of boring for a return to Super League

We were champions wen he took over. He made us that bad. Trust me, he isn't a good coach. He does have ability though. When you make players like Hastings look bad you have some talent. Appoint Lam and you won't be back any time soon. |
