Having witnessed a display that mirrored our tired late season run in, I do struggle to understand why McNally and Ridyard were not selected.

Second best in every aspect of the game, too many individual mistakes, extremely shoddy defence. Why do experienced players go for the shoulders of a runner when a tackle round the legs or even an ankle tap will bring him down?

The season went pear-shaped when we started making those extra signings. The team spirit went and once McNally wasn't at full back we lost a potent attacking threat and playing Brierley at full back appeared to nullify another attacking option. I think players knew they were on the way out. We miss McNally and Ridyard and can't understand they are being offloaded. But all in all, most of us expected to be nearer to the foot of the table so can't complain. Just hope, next season, we don't make the same mistake of signing a load of journeymen who are only here for the money.

Ridyards time has gone, our halfs looked a lot sharper without him but we don’t play the right structure to benefit

Very happy Brierley at full back. Most ineffective I have ever seen him against us and can’t tackle. Surprised Riddy not playing too, sure he would have been determined to put one over on us.

The club canvassed donations to sign the competition's best full back only for Duffy to petuantly sit him in the stands.

I can't understand his reasoning, Ryan Brierley was constantly found out of position today and his and Brown's defensive frailties tonight were exposed by Featherstone time and time again.

To much chopping and changing, especially in the halves with an added degree of stubbornness thrown in by Duffy meant that what started as a very promising season and potential for a great ending, fizzled out to finish as an underwhelming damp squid.

Fev came out fired up we came out carrying kids never understood that before games especially the biggest of the season we cant sustain any pressure more than 3 sets with or without the ball little enthusiasm from team, will they be having a mildly upset day tmoz,or crowd what was the attendance, North stand an embarrassment with idiots back on show, gaps in defence mile wide, so called star signing, according to contributor on here who knows nowt,blowing bubbles for five minutes after making one break that he could not contribute to next attack, weird team selection, and i dont mean half back,pick players who are at least fit
