Not really , what if they dont have a good job ir a job at all .. unless derek gives em one

Then they go and find one , if they aren't fully proffessional it's because they aren't good enough to get a full time contract at a full time club

It's not rocket science is it, plenty of jobs out there, and not a bad little top up for a couple of nights training and a run out on a Sunday afternoon

I'm sorry but because the're part time it doesn't mean they only train twice and play on a weekend,I'm pretty sure they'll train nearly every night and do the captain's run on a sat then play on a Sunday so sometimes it takes a bit more commitment being part time than it does being full time

Indeed , the implications to relationships and family life are many when playing part time , but ultimately it's down to available money

Which is why I believe that the focus of Leigh Centurions should not be on trying to produce elite RL players , unless you are an ' elite ' club , you don't need them

To become an elite club is essentially down to finances , and primarily Leigh Centurions will only ever be a sustainable elite club if they can increase their support base to elite club levels , that should be the focus , possibly even before the club player roster

There was a hint of sarcasm in my comments to be honest, ATEOTD it's their choice. As I see it there are about 15 full time clubs, the rest are part time and it's up to the PT players to do what's best for them - doubt many PT clubs will be offering more that has been suggested above

A pre season 'testimonial' game could on the cards for one returning player.
