Also with Mata'utia, he has shown class, but has anybody else noticed, how he has 'retired' to the wing, after about 60 minutes in most games? He'll need to display better staying power in SL, where the intensity tends to be much greater.

Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed watching some of these guys play, but have tended to be disappointed with the overall efforts of some of our (probably) better paid players.

Alan, it was a very poor under performing team. A New Zealand warrior here for the wage, I bet he punches above his weight at Wire now as the others will do. That for me was down to the coaching staff to sort,all should be held responsible for situation they find themselves in now.

Cunningham,Purtill and Anderson have all failed, they should follow the same path as DB. Thats business not sport.

After watching Craig Hall for a lot of his career he’s one of those players who has an outstanding game and you think we’ve got some player here and then the next game you wonder how he’s managed to get in team he’s that bad

Frankie, Hall would make one of the best stand offs going. He is as level headed as Woody was at Leigh and thats something coming from a leyther. He has speed and a RL brain,wing fb was never his position.

How can you possibly say Purtill has failed???. Agreed he lost his first two matches but what a state the team was in at that stage. After that only two more league defeats ( both to Toronto), victories over Fev, London (three times) and Toulouse, all away, the only Championship team to have beaten a super league team so far this season, the only one to reach the quarter-final of the Challenge Cup and the vast majority of these games played away.

That's a pretty good record in my opinion.

I look forward , hopefully, to KP being given a full season to show what he can do with a team of his own choosing. Then and only then should he be judged.

Well putting Hall in the same breath as Woody is laughable at best - yes he's fast and may have a RL brain but for natural ability nowhere even on the same planet - and he's gone through a few clubs who seem to feel the same

I too would be pleased if he gets the job next season - it makes a refreshing change to have a half back coaching us, rather than the usual front row forwards, who aren't always known for their subtlety!

Also, I hope he gets the say in who we sign.
