The lad didnt look well at all so hope he gets better soon.
I presume the official in the stand saw it so he'll be the one who will know if it was intentional or not (along with Jamie).

I must admit I didn't see what Acton did, however it could have cost us not only the game but put an end to our season.However it didn't, the boys played very well a man down for virtually all the game ,
laing up the slope in that heat , I thought they played very well, Hutchy, Ben R, and HH were the stand outs , but all put the effort in, back to Acton, time to go, we don't this liability.

The incident was in front of me. Hemingway kicked the ball to the corner. Acton was putting him under pressure, but followed through, after Hemingway kicked. He appeared to make minimal contact with the side of the Batley player's head, with what seemed like two or three fingers. I was surprised at the impact it had on Hemingway, so goodness knows where he caught him.

That said, he had no reason whatsoever to touch Hemingway, especially around the head - so he had to go. One thing I would question - the referee said he saw it, but I don't believe he did. He'd waved play on and was supervising the ptb in our corner, along with the touch judge.

I was at the game and it looked a terrible and cowardly late forearm at the bottom of the slope that put the Batley player into an ambulance and on to hospital.

If I can politely point out you do not get a red card if the officials do not see it. STOP DEFENDING THE INDEFENSIBLE
