No idea why this batch of players aren't up to it.
Clearly confidence is shot to pieces.
Need a Millward or another coach who has experience of the lower leagues but is confident and can get the best out of players ( and ship them out if not good enough).
Two weeks to get things sorted.

There are obviously major reasons at the club why the players aren't performing.
The silence on a new coach is deafening.

As frustrating and annoying as it is, now is the time for the true fans to get behind the CLUB, not just the team, THE CLUB. A shock for us all to be where we are but we all have to grind it out

I was very late getting to the game, as for Frank, I saw him last week , he was OK. By the way I thought Fax played very well and fully deserved the win , I've never been a Murrell fan as he looks overweight , but I thought he had a good game today.
Our problem for the rest of the season is we need a bit of I prove mentioned I fitness and teams pirate, Fax need a bit of consistency in performances.

As a Fax fan, even though your team was woeful today, there's no chance of you getting relegated. On paper you have a vastly superior squad to the likes of Halifax, but the difference is probably what's being said in the changing room. Fax have no stars, but a closely knit team who absolutely support and work their socks off for each other. I had a chat with a couple of the players after the game, and although they were made up about the result, they were all keen to "big up" the performances of their team-mates.

Fax played well today, in fact the best they have so far this season. Great in the first half, but we should have made you pay with all that pressure we had in the second half, as well as a couple of sucker punches with dropped ball and interception tries.

Hi Ian. Murrell does have a couple of excess pounds, but he always manages a full 80 minutes (Ok, around 78 today). He's 32 now, but he was my MoM for Fax today - he leads and organises the team, and his kicking game to the corners was impeccable (Ben Johnston, our official MoM, tried the same in the first half and it went out on the full!).

Shocking comment. No they haven't. Higham for example was embarrassing. Just passed from dummy half and when he did decide to make a run, he was blowing and retreated to the flanks for a breather. Hansen and Acton had "go forward" but their halves Lilley and Hutchison were garbage. The ball kept being funnelled to Evans but he seems to have lost 5 yards in speed. I came away disappointed we didn't win by 50 to be honest. "Vastly superior"? You're having a laugh?

LOL. I said "on paper". Agree with what you say (to a degree) about the Leigh performance today (albeit Higham did Ok), but I think RM could work wonders if he had their squad to work with.
