Why is it a shame that Weston is not in the Squad? No room for sentiment or fave players, the Coach picks his best 17 players available in his opinion, and goes with his choice, and stands or falls by his choice. The same has been said about McNally , but give me Mitch Brown every day of the week, Jukesy obviously feels the same, Leigh need a win.

It's a shame because he's ten times the prop forward that James Green is.

But yes, it is a matter of choice. Just that some are more baffling than others.

We all have our own opinions on every player,but really its down to Jukesy and his Staff to pick the 17 they think will give Leigh the best chance of a win,James Green has his critics but again we don't know what happens in training, not even Charlie knows that

Naughton before Higson, your having a laugh surely. Doesn't offer the same as Higson or anywhere near. Done ok don't get me wrong, but Higson takes the ball from dummy half and the pressure off forwards as much as any winger in SL (and no that doesn't make him the best by any means), and apart from having a tendency to drift inside is big enough and fast enough to be very solid defensively

Don't think that team is far off for me, possibly Green before Vea - Stewart to start, normally puts the 80 in

It's a shame AS HE WAS STARTING TO STEP UP OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS, nothing to do with sentiment, I was one of his biggest critics when he first came back this season. But he has been performing better than other props named in the squad

It was indeed the Facebook page where it was said to be a shame about McNally,I don't go along with it ever being a shame about a player getting dropped or left out, not in professional sport.The biggest disappointment of the season for me , must be Glen Stewart,some folk might say Vea or Reynolds , but Stewart arrived with so much potential,and has failed to deliver.As for Weston?He was deservidly Player of the year last season, but hasn't put his stamp on games this season, it's a big rise from Championship to SL.
I think we are nailed on for the middle 8s now ,and I feel Jukesy and his team will act accordingly as to how we approach the middle 8s.Will we survive?My answer is YES I think we will.Then in 2018 hopefully a bit wiser Derek will do what is needed in the recruitment race.

But seriously, a big plus, sure there's stories to be told but that nothing to do with us fans- so long as he is happy and the club is happy that's fine by me, very underrated player IMO

We have missed Patterson greatly.

A big plus. The club needs a big confidence boost and to be fair, we always seem to do well against Salford.
