Up to now early results have been in favour of the SL clubs. It's up to Leigh to upset that applecart tomorrow.
I believe we can win at Salford, but if we don't, then Wakefield will seriously fancy their chances next week.
In short, tomorrow's match just got even bigger.
Can't wait.

Atomic…..the players James Webster had should not have been performing like they did . in a few case you have to say the players that have come in do not have as good a pedigree that have left. Collis Paea,McShane replaced by Tansey Walker Moore for example . The fact remains if a coach can't coach it doesn't matter whose name is on the team sheet.

It's gone now, all water under the bridge and all that, but fwiw Webster was given all the money that was available for team recruitment and spent it on the players he wanted, there was no money available for Smith for recruitment and every player he brought in to the club was a replacement for one that left, it's all well documented as you probably know already  1/10. |

I think there was a causal relationship there but Wakey were much better than I expected. Not seen much of them on TV this year so made some assumptions regarding results and match reports. The power and pace of their forwards was our undoing and we had no real answer. Tim Smith was able to do what he wanted. I doubt Gaskell could have made any difference. If Wakey were the soft touch then I dread the other 3 SL sides. |

Just seen Jimmy Lowes latest post match interview on Bulls TV.

Unbelievable stuff. Can't believe how hostile, abrupt and generally rude he was to what I presume were local journos asking fairly basic questions for their own official Bulls website. He seems to be the same after every defeat and I can't imagine that abrasive attitude helps when dealing with his players.
Glad we have Rowley in charge. At least he is cool, polite and level headed no matter how good or poor the performance. Lowes comes across as a spoiled, angry child whenever his team puts in a poor peformance. |

He spoke in the banqueting suite post game and was disappointed but upbeat and gave a reasonable assessment of the game and our failings. Didn't see anything on LCTV though this week no.
He was "happy" to speak after the defeats to London and Wire though and again was professional and gave a polite and well considered interview without getting surly or rude. I can't remember any occasion when PR has been abrasive as JL seems to be after a poor result. |
