Agreed, I don't think there is much difference in quality between Bradford Leigh and Wakefield. KR & Widnes probably have slightly more quality, but you could make arguments for them getting dragged into the dog fight with KR having a CC distraction and fatigue and Widnes struggling to play on grass. Salford, may take some confidence form their performance yesterday, but equally if more off field issues arise, they will be in trouble.
Halifax and Sheffield will fall short of the play-off games, but they have enough quality to cause teams problems and if a team turns up not fully focused, they will get burned.
Teams have to take it a week by week basis.

Dear me, I'll put that down to Monday morning syndrome.
My top 3 are Widnes, Rovers, Leigh with Salford & Bradford battling it out in the play off game.

| Love it to see Wakey written off they have been preparing for weeks for this we have a great coach so we will see.
HKR have a semi so dont get a week off, if they win the semi that will be interesting if they lose equally interesting for their morale along with losing their main player.
Salford who knows which one will turn up.
Widnes look a solid outfit and play well at home
The Championship sides leigh well top of the league and absolutely on merit should have a good showing 4 home games is the key.
The Bulls a bit hot and cold but capable (a bit like Salford).
Halifax on a great run and could scare a few
Sheffield rank outsiders but fair play hey made it and Aston is no mug.

| I think all 4 of the SL teams will be very hard to beat, some are writing off Widnes , Salford and Wakey , but for me Widnes will be very hard to beat at home, you never know what Salford will do ,and Wakey seem to be coming to a bit,add to this Fax being the form team at the moment in the Championship, and the Bulls having Gaskell and Mullaney returning ,probably only the Seagulls as the bottom team.
I'm sure PR and his back room boys know the score,no easy games at best I think Leigh will win 4 games, providing we don't get any injuries, probably I'm being pessimistic ,I prefer realistic.

How have they been preparing for weeks?
This is business end of the season and you need to go into it in some form. Wakefield aren't in any kind of form and whilst they may be showing brief glimpses of improvements, they are still losing games and only won one game against Hull.
The reason Leigh, Bradford and Halifax will be dangerous is because they are currently winning games and playing with confidence, that goes such a long way and whilst the likes of Leigh have forgotten how to lose, Wakefield have forgotten how to win. That's why they're written off by some. Saying the fixtures didn't matter until the middle 8's is absolute nonsense (if that is what Wakey are doing).
Hull KR are a real good side when they want to be and won't lose a game at home (I'm delighted we're not going there as we never get a good result) - in fact arguably our hardest opponents are Leigh, Rovers and Salford (IMO) and we have them all at home. We're in decent form beating Catalans and Salford recently and only just losing at Wigan 20-10. All this without our 'one man team' Kev Brown.

| With only 14 points to play for, every result carries a lot of significance. A couple of poor performances in the wrong games could derail any team and surprise wins could really boost a side. It's going to be interesting.

| This is going to be very interesting, as any team expecting a win home or away will get beat. But i have to say, i think the superleague teams should rise to the top as it gets nearer to the million pound game. I reckon Leigh will have a big say in it and possibly Bradford My own team Fax i think it will be a bridge too far this season.

| It's going to be very tough, all 8 teams go into it with reasons to feel confident. I think our advantage is in our home form, having not lost at home for nearly 2 years is a massive achievement.
"Home
Hull Kingston Rovers
Bradford Bulls
Wakefield Wildcats
Sheffield Eagles"
All those are winnable games at the LSV.
Away at Salford I don't think gives them any real advantage, the AJ Bell like the LSV is a modern stadium with a big pitch so we should feel right at home. Halifax though on fantastic form as the only (fully) part time team could struggle, especially if they're already out of the running, so should be a victory.
Think we'll probably loose one or two from that lot but no more which should be enough to see us up (or at least at home in the million pound match).
Widnes away on their plastic pitch, though wouldn't be a surprise, would be a bonus.

| Hull KR, Widnes will definitely be in SL next season, not sure about Salford but they should be ok. Wakefield have improved recently (apart from the Cas game last week), but Bradford are hardly on 'top form' at the moment. We are doing ok, making lots of handling errors, but still winning games. As for Fax & Sheffield, maybe 2016 is their best bet, but 'you never know' do you ? BRING IT ON !!!!

Although I wish we could share you optimism and excitement for the middle 8's. I think they'll be some good games but I think there will be some blow out scores too (not including you men) and if we hadn't conceded a last second try to Warrington a few weeks ago we'd have made the top 8.
Do you think Leigh and Bradford have a good enough defence consistently against SL teams? (Serious question). 36 conceded against Warrington, 36 all Bradford V Leigh - that's a lot of points and your attack has been excellent all year, but will be up against better defence.'"
Well lets not forget the 24 conceded by Warrington! And you really can't base your top 8 miss on a single try. I'm not questioning our defence or attack. Are you questioning yours?
I can't speak for Bradford, but we do have to put things in perspective..Widnes along with Hull KR,Wakey and Salford, are in the middle 8's for a reason. Leigh,Bradford,Halifax and Sheffield are in the middle 8's for opposite reasons.
Every game you play, you'll be fighting for survival back to SL. Every game we play, will be for promotion to SL. As of now you are no longer a SL team as we are no longer Championship.. We are the middle 8's. Bring it on.
