We do have to move forward now, and give the current administration all our support.

However, it is only right (in my opinion) that we acknowledge the contribution of all the previous administrations at the club. Without them, we may well not have had a club for the current BOD to run.

Everybody who has ever stepped up to fund our hobby in the past 20+ years has done so for the right reasons and has my respect - we have had no ground or training pitch to pawn in that period. Each has played a role in keeping pro/semi pro RL in Leigh and with it the dreams we fans hold

The club will succeed or fail on fan take up, and as a fan I am fortunate to be financially able play a small role at this moment to help my dreams become reality

We are on a roll, you can tell by the little moaning on here for a start , but we need the community to back us in great numbers to ensure that roll becomes unstoppable if we are to reach our dreams

Show you are in it with us, and if possible get them season tickets bought or on your Christmas list - REMEMBER £160 for an adult and under 16 to attend 13 league games at the LSV with the squad that's been put together and the facilities on offer is a real BARGAIN imo

Simon Moran is a huge rugby league fan and stands on the terrace every week, when we played Catalans he was in the pubs around Lloret mingling and enjoying a few drinks just like the rest of us, albeit with a big unit of a body guard. Doesn't seem to have had an adverse effect on Warrington Football Club Limited?

You seem to be helping your husband to carry that huge chip on his shoulder lately and it really is quite sad to watch unfold.

Yes we dont want any ' Cronies ' getting involved with the club do we?

I'd be surprised if anybody who wasnt a ' huge RL fan ' would shove a load of cash at a RL club, be they multi millionaires or just local businessmen, the point being made was more to do with people who do or have supported local amatuer clubs, and this administration much like the last has done that , so maybe that ' chip ' you mentioned doesnt actually exist outside your head

And some others support other local sports Keith, Phil Coffey has supported Atherton Town FC for years

Both Neil and Keith's posts I totally agree with. People who care for our game and communities who stump up their hard earned have my upmost respect. Dedicating your time time for no return is even more admirable. Leythers are a bread that I can say I am proud to be of. Totally looking forward to next season.

Thin or toasty?

Well I'm grateful to all the people who put their hard earned money into the club.
Without this we wouldn't have a team to support.
There's lots of people out there putting money into our club , some small amounts, some large, through many avenues, without theM all the club would not be we're we are now.
I don't want anything for what I do just feels right to do it , I do it for the love of the club and wanting it to become better.
It's not about one person it's about a Group of people who are in it together.
I think it's disrespectful to call people anyone who has put their hard earned money into our club.
