I remember the shared gate when we played at Hunslet, think they missed the '1' off the front!

RFF on the night in question I distinctly remember thinking this is a poor crowd I guessed at around 1800 and we promptly announced 2000 and odd which ment we fiddled ourselves

Fair do's we played Hunslet away last season in the NRC quarter final.

I thought we took at least 600 but the crowd was announced at less than that. It just shows that big clubs (in the Championship) like Leigh and smaller clubs like your own are not as well supported as we thought.



We seriously had a poor following on Thursday and the announced crowd did surprise me to be honest given the playoff game last season.

On an even more serious note on Thursday Leigh played very badly but still only lost by 20 points despite an unbelievable gaff by the ref.

Fev were so lucky the ref did not go to the video ref for that Leigh kick off because had he done so we all know Leigh would have won by a country mile.

Frank on a serious note how many do you think you brought to POR. I saw the LISA bus and minibus I just wonder how many made the journey in cars...

Yeah I called it about 200 so not far off then..given that it was a good home attendance for our small village in deepest darkest yorks..

To be fair I thought there was nearer 300 Leigh fans on thurs with some in the both stands as well as behind the sticks.
