I have been thinking of switching from British Gas for a while so was just about to switch to Npower and earn the clugb a bit of dosh and then I read Kev's satement above...

And given the fact I'm never at home, I think I will now stick with the devil I know.

No worries mate all i would say though is we have all had bad experiences with companys it does not mean you will have the same issues plus this was 4 years ago!!

Its not put me off going to them but each to there own plus they have over 6million customers so they must be doing something right!! Haha

The Watcher is considering switching, at the moment he is with EDF & pays 2.802p/KWh for gas &8.37p/KWh for electric.What are NPower charging ?

The watcher should visit the shopping directory click on Npower and get a quote

The Watcher has done just that & unfortunately he will not be changing from EDF to NPower as it would cost him nearly £300 per year. Just a bit of advice to all The Watchers friends, please do your sums throughly before switching energy suppliers.

Well I switched from EDF to NP and saved £100 over the year...It seems very strange that NP would be £300 dearer than EDF!

Well luckily for the watcher and "his friends" EDF are on the shopping directory so they can take advantage of his fabulous deal and also make some money for the club and themselves

Out of curiosity I did the EDF one now online and the NP was cheaper.

I think "The Watcher" and his friends are on a fixed price deal that they got prior to the big gas price hike earlier this year. That or he/she/it is mis-chief making.

The Watcher would never mischief make over something as serious as money, the tariff he is on is called EDF ENERGY"s Online S@ver V8 electricity & Online S@ver V8 Gas. As everyone knows the gas & electric pricing policies of the energy suppliers are very complex, the each have umpteen tariffs to chose from & your annual consumption is a massive factor in getting the best deal available.

After being stitched up by the French into vetoing the Euro treaty, no Englishman in his right mind should be paying the French for anything. Even if you think you are saving money. Never trust the French!

My parents are already with NPower but on a standard tariff. Does the club still benefit if they switch tariffs? They would still be entitled to the Uswitch offers so I would hope so...
