| just like we were dreaming about winning the league after our shambolic administration, and a team with the average age of 84! 
theres nothing wrong with abit of ambition.....i remember been at school on the halifax/bradford border 15 years ago,
halifax and bradford were decent supported teams. nothing to pick really between levels of support.
abit of attention to detail, and some good marketing by the bulls and in 10 years they won how many leagues/cups?!
5-6000 crowds to 15-20000 crowds. all by chucking afew cheerleaders on and some fireworks...with cheap tickets for kids.
it wont happen over night, but i for one am very exited about this year, and the appointment of our new marketing director.
widnes are going to super league.
we are the best package other than that to market outside the top division....bring it on!!! |

Not knocking 'Fax, but would take issue on the 'getting nowhere' bit. From being 'relegated' the previous season, to finishing third & appearing in the NRC semi final, was immense progress, from where we started out. Leigh have opted for the steady progress route and who's to say that's the wrong way to do it? 'Fax have been deservedly successful of late, and who's to say their way of doing it is wrong? Ther's no right and wrong way of getting there, as long as the club remains viable and makes progress.

Where did I say that 'Fax won the league? I said that Bradford won a few. The point is Leigh spend big money on a has been Scrum Half and a coach from down under and get nowhere.
