Robbie Paul if true is a great signing both on and off the field for many reasons.
Duffy I'd have back as he is good at this level but I was secretly hoping for better.
Bibey is a big lad who can hurt teams with go forward but can give penalties away. Millward will get the best out of him. Good signing if true.

I actually am on record as saying we DIDN'T deserve a place in SL, nor do we currently. I do not 'crave SL rugby' - we can't even hack it in the Championship, so I'll not 'shut up', especially where I see perceived inequalities between clubs. I'm actually making a statement on the number of Antipodean imports the Welsh are allowed - irrespective of whether they even obtain the correct visas.

yeah....kinda like the blame London threads we put up with for years. Whilwe you're at it....check out your SL suad from 2005 before pointing the "team full of Australian finger"
I recently posted that we now had 2 current England "cockney" internationals and was treated with an "about time" reply 14 years down the line!! These two guys were 9 and 10 years old when SL started and unlike the previous Londoners in the GB/England set up......they aren't Union converts, but League players!
Sorry if the Shut up Bit was a bit strong, but let's face it.........if you keep your heads down and powder dry, then you will have a good case for a leg up in 2011 or 2014.......but as long as your club is associated with the "disgusted at the celtic decision" quote....you may as well give up. |

Quotes that have susequently been proved to be correct.
London and Wales have recieved more assistance from the RFL than have any heartland clubs.
As for our 2005 squad we actually were on quota, not that the word quota refered to London or does to Celtic these days.

Why should any club "shut up and keep thier powder dry" as you put it or expect a "leg up" either.All anyone wants is a "level playing field".I am not a fan of Alan Rowley but what you are saying is you only have a chance to get into Sooper Dooper if you capitulate and give up to things that are not fair.
Everyone should have a right to speak out about the inequalities that the RFL are working to if they so wish. In Yorkshire we say it how it is and boy were we glad when Celtic got promoted we don`t want them back in our league either the Championship sides can`t afford to subsidise them anymore.
