| Quote: Genehunt "I dont think it was that late tbh , and bird wasnt acting , not unconscious but defo dazed also think 8 matches is severe if acton recieves that'"
How late is then? its either late or not and, as Ben Reynolds is not in possession of the Ball, its late
Its high too!! Greg Bird also put Lazarus to shame (not Glen ).
We have an incident here where a player has committed a foul and Broke an opponents nose and, he's not punished
Another player's action's 'could' have injured a player and he's facing a lengthy ban
I don't know which Teams you Guys support however, when Greg Bird injures one of your players, perhaps you may have something to say

Acton will not get the respect of other players with actions like that'"
Are you talking about Jamie Acton getting the respect of Greg Bird? Jamie had just watched Bird flatten his teammate off the Ball and injure him Jamie will have Ben Reynolds respect and, that of Bens family too

| I've said it before and I'll say it again, if Jamie Acton or Gareth Hock had Broken Luke Walsh's nose after he'd kicked the ball it would have been a straight Red Further more, there would have been a brawl as the Catalan players are not shy at piling in, as we saw, on Saturday!!
Jamie Acton is probably the best young prop forward in Super League and, I'm certain every SL Coach would take him. Petulance is Jaimie's problem not dirty play which injures players and, when he can rid himself of this petulance England will have a top player

| There was an interesting incident at Warrington last night, when Higson was running the ball out from a kick. He took what looked like a swinging arm, went down, and stayed down, as if he was injured. I've not had the benefit of seeing a replay, but first impressions were that three Warrington players promptly dived on him. It turned out he wasn't badly injured, but did those three players know that?
Now I'm not defending Acton - what he did is indefensible in my opinion - but what if Higson had been badly injured, before those defenders dived on him? A not dissimilar scenario, in my opinion.

In the recent game at Leeds, we had two players 'in the Motion' of tackling McGuire! our players were both sin binned
As for the Blinkers I'm Leigh's biggest critic
I'm also not sure our players are being judged as others are?
Lets go back to Cats and see Hock 'In the Motion' of breaking Walsh's Nose ! You'll soon hear Sky Pundits sing a different Tune and, the Ref and Video Ref too

| Oh by the way, has anyone mentioned Sam Moa putting his Arm across Hewer's chest before he touched down?
From my seat in the ground he appeared to spin Hewer side ways allowing the Ball to roll forward?

I mentioned that, at the time. Looked an excellent hand off!

Kirk, I wouldn't bother reacting to part of the anti Leigh regime, You're better than that.

| I don't see the point moaning about other incidents it's our own dicipline and actons behaviour that as got it him hot water all season. If we was top of league winning every week there would not be a mention of the refs vendetta against leigh

I'm not happy with the way Jamie gets involved in silly situations however, I'm also not happy with the hysterical way the Media and some of our own fans are wanting the 'book' thrown at him!
My reason for quoting other incidents is to try and highlight some of the more serious offences which occur and, aren't given anywhere near as much bad reporting or punishment.
Jaime should receive a warning and a couple of Matches at the most!
Last comparison On Friday night Bennie Westwood was returning to the Wire after an absence, within ten minutes he's executed a Spear Tackle and gets ten minutes in the Bin! Bennie went on to have an influence in the game however, he's likely to receive a Ban now which doesn't help us! McShane at Cas, Rangi at Widnes,The three Cat lads and now Bennie are just some of the transgressors against us and their bans, have only helped other Clubs
The whole Disciplinary procedure needs overhauling because at the moment, the Spanish Inquisition (AKA Review Panel) is making a mockery of the on field officiating
