I have been coming to your ground for decades and on many occassions Leigh have taken loads of fans and rarely is this reciprocated at Leigh by Fev whatever day the games played,though in recent years with your deserved success has seen more fans I will agree.THe Fev women with the loudest voice in RL does equate to 10 other fans in decibel level so you may seem to be bringing more these days,she is also the stupidest fan in RL as well.

Can't believe anyone in their right mind would play it on a Friday night.

Last time we played at yours on a Friday (2012 season iirc), it took nearly 3 hours to get there and I missed the first half. There's no way I'd ever consider driving over on a Friday again. I imagine many other Fev supports feel the same.

From a financial perspective, it makes far more sense for both clubs to play it at the weekend, good on Poskitt for sticking to his guns.

So what's the problem then? If there is no advantage (I agree with you) then why make such a fuss? Because you'll take a few more fans and get a few more quid on a Sunday? Well on the Friday we will do better on the corporate side of things (traditionally) and make a few more quid that way.

Fev are making themselves look ridiculous. The way they are going on about there supposedly massive army of away fans they'd bring on a Sunday is just nonsense as well. Who do they think they are, Hull KR?

a little bit of advice for the LSV ,when looking at the draft fixtures next season note dates of all cup competitions and always presume both us and Swinton could be still in them each round and do not book functions on the dates of these comps , then we can choose what day we want to play .

I obviously tempted fate, I have a vehicle originally schedule for delivery to Halewood tomorrow but my customer now wants them delivered to Bilbao instead.

As I said nothing is guaranteed but fortunately on this occasion I have some alternative work for my usual transport agent.

The biggest mistake and trap you are all falling into here is comparing any kind of normal day to day business with the operating of a sports club and in particular a semi professional RL team. Partnerships mean both parties need each other equally LSV need LC and visa versa and if the relationship is to be a successful one both parties will at times give ground and be flexible to each others needs unlike a conventional business relationship were the customer is always right mentality should always apply.
