Well done Leigh on a sensible ticketing policy.

Rather than charging £22.00 across the board (which I fully expected bringing us in line with a lot of SL clubs) we have adopted what a lot of football clubs do and put games in categories.

Only downer is 6pm Saturday for a kick off time as opposed to 6.30pm, the extra 30mins would have helped massively during the football season for those of us who watch both sports live as 6pm can be a rush.

All in all though good news.

The only prices listed are in the North & West stands. The Away stand being the South, so it remains unclear whether there will be an away fan price varient.



For me personally, all away fans should be charged the same across the board. Fans shouldn't be punished for supporting a rival/successful club.

If you look a "premium game" from the opposition point of view, they probably wouldn't think coming to Leigh was one of their premium fixtures, that may change of course but not in the first season. Same price for all away fans is the way to go.

Looking at it objectively, £230 for a season ticket for my my favoured North Stand = £20.90p per game over 11 regular season games + whatever free games included for whichever 8's we fall into.



IMO this is still good value for SL rugby & despite the fact I might have to miss up to 6 games due to work, I will still invest in a season ticket because it in turn invests in the future of this Great Club.



Last time that me & her indoors went to Old Trafford it cost me over £100 for 2 tickets, a programme & a couple of beers & nearly 2 hours to travel the 10 miles home with no guarantee of goals etc *fortunately it was a good game & United won* but steep doesn't anywhere near fairly describe the cost.

Opposition point of view is irrelevant. We need to make each home game a "must see" event. Sell the home tickets out each game then we create a home, hostile environment that makes us difficult to beat. The opposition fans will come if they are in for a competitive game no matter the cost.

It is good value and I will be ordering mine on Monday but I was looking at it from a visitor's viewpoint. If you were, lets say a Hull supporter, you wouldn't expect to pay more at LSV than DW.

No it isn't, particularly with some games on TV.

I think its more relevant that the club have got the season ticket promotion in motion prior to a packed LSV. What's in print can always be addressed and amended/modified at a later date.Season tickets must take priority first.

I will be ordering one for my Dad asap. Great value in my eyes to watch a landmark season for our club.
