Well said.
Flower, Clubb, Mossop, Tautai and Sutton are all playing so it is pretty much the 1st choice props for Wigan tomorrow (bar Crosby?)
Charnley, Manfredi, Gelling and J.Tomkins are all 1st team players.
Gildart, Powell and Tierney will no doubt see plenty of 1st team action this season plus the usual crop of top notch young players that the pies churn out.
Will not be an easy game. Especially with us missing Brierley, Emmitt, Hansen, Pala, Barlow and maybe Pownall too.
Really looking forward to this one, should be a good challenge for our new look side. |

"A new season and myself and Gillian will be in the "legends" bar before the game tomorrow. The quiz starts at 2pm with a 4 pint pitcher for the winners. Gillian will be there selling all the latest merchandise and answering any queries you might have, regarding clothing. After the quiz, I,ll be having a chat with a couple of non playing squad about preseason and their thoughts for the season. Looking at both squads I'm for casting a win for Leigh by 10 to 20 points ,Wigan have some very young lads on show and they will be given game time ,I realise they are very talented lads but our team should be too strong in every dept,we should show no mercy.

Abysmal Wigan following IMHO, how many did they bring ? 300 > 400 ?
Regardless of the fact that it is £4 per month * I think * on Wigan TV, not many die hard fans have they.
Quite a good effort & some genuine quality from their young lads I thought.
Those Pies who stayed at home missed a good game. |
