There can be no excuses,it is a farce,it is typical of Leigh RLFC but one has to say that it comes as no surprise that they have got it all wrong again.Some may say that it is not the clubs fault & ticket/turnstile companies have let them down but I don't recall any problems when BWFC moved from Burnden to the Reebok.
It does show the lack of professionalism that has dogged the club for years & which was eluded to in the report of our rejection by SL

just phoned the ground was told that tickets for whitehaven and lokomotiv games being sent out today by post. but the club was hopeful of swipe cards being ready for this weekend. they are just being on the safe side which I suppose is understandable. I suppose they should be given the chance to get it right for future seasons. its all a learning curve

How can you compare BWFC to Leigh RLFC. Also BWFC had nearly 8 months maybe more to sort things out and I dont think their ground is run by some other company.

BWFC own their own stadium and are not at the mercy of their landlord and his equipment.

When Leighs ticket office show the same incompetance as Bolton have over the Reebok years I will be worried.

Mentioned on the 'Fax forum that their season ticket holders get free entry for their Cup game so presumably the same for us, as I touched upon last week?

your presuming quite a lot there Matt, is it a RL recommendation/directive or just a club thing?

RL-wide according to the 'Fax forum - was aware that SL clubs have a similar initiative for the 4th Round so makes sense to me.

So what happens if you get an away draw? do you still get in free?

With it being RL-wide rather than only particular clubs, I can only guess that to be the case though obviously you have to claim your ticket in advance rather than just turn up on the day.

Subject to availability is the key phrase here, though I doubt that will be much of a problem at many of the grounds!

bolox. the only mistake the club made on this particular subject is listening to, and trusting information from LSV last November. Had they not done, then the books from kalamazoo would have been here months ago. End of.
